Babywearing has always been one of my advocacies so when I was invited to the celebration of Babywearing Philippines for International Babywearing Week 2019 last October 12. 2019, I was more than happy to attend. The annual event was held at the Eastwood Mall Atrium and there were many experts who attended and taught parents how to use baby carriers properly and also shared some babywearing hacks. It was an all-day event with lots of surprises for the attendees and a mini bazaar for both passersby and attendees
Some of the most popular local brands attended the annual event. Parents who attended the event could shop around for new carries or accessories for their carriers. Here were some of the mompreneur stalls that were open to the public.
There were so many activities and mini-seminars held throughout the event! Parents were certainly entertained with all of the chosen presenters and entertainers. Check out some of the highlights of the day.
My son has long outgrown our numerous carriers but I will still be using a baby carrier should I have another baby. There are so many reasons why babywearing is so helpful for parents and their babies and I will keep on spreading this until the concept is normalized. Hopefully, there will be more families joining the annual event this 2020.
